ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

ABS is a hard and sturdy plastic which has a high melting point and can withstand temperatures of up to 100°C. As well as being heat resistant it can be resistant to temperatures as low as -10°C and remains ridged and tough at this low temperature. ABS is stronger and more shock resistant that UPVC

It is a popular plastic that is used for injection moulding products and is one of the most affordable plastics that is resistant to aqueous acids, alkalis, and strong impact.

Unless protected ABS has poor UV resistance which will cause it to warp and if used continuously at a high temperature will degrade.
